James Macsay is a Senior Consultant with Right Management Consultants. He has a multi-disciplinary background in organization development, communication, human resources and mar-keting. His academic credentials include a Certificate in Organization & Systems and Development from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and a Master of Arts degree in Organization Development & Analytical Psychology from Vermont College of Norwich University.
James' work centers on the themes of supporting individuals, teams and whole systems to develop strategies, tools and processes for enhanced communication, organizational spirit and performance. Prior to establishing his independent practice he worked extensively with these themes as a HR and communication specialist for General Motors Europe.

James's consulting style attends to the various ways people interact and impact each other. As a Swiss-American dual citizen he has had living and working experiences in the USA and Switzerland. He appreciates the diversity and challenges of working within multi-cultural environments. While living in the USA, James worked with Right Management within both the organization consulting and career transition areas. James has also has considerable experience with the media. Since the early 1980s he has hosted, produced and contributed to a variety of radio and media related productions in the USA and Switzerland.

Work examples include:

  • Executive coaching and workshop facilitation (teamwork & employee recognition) which created alignment within the organization, awareness for operating principles and a greater sense of enthusiasm and spirit.
  • Designed, developed and delivered an IT asset management best practice learning community which resulted in a collaborative process that developed global standards for software asset management.
  • Executive level coaching to support development of a coaching culture which improved organizational learning, relationships, staff development and performance.
  • International Change Agent Programs supporting executives responsible for change initiatives to help participants gaining knowledge about themselves through confronting issues around power, resistance, influence and communication.
